FAQ – all you need to know

What kind of laser do you use ?

We work with the Soprano ICE Platinum – a premium, medical-grade device by Alma Lasers. It's fast, effective, and gentle on your skin. Honestly? We love it. And so will you.

Will my health insurance cover it ?

Nope. Laser hair removal is considered a cosmetic treatment, so it’s not reimbursed – even when done in a doctor’s office. But it’s absolutely worth the investment in comfort and confidence.

Will it hurt ?

Most people describe the feeling as a light tingle or a quick pinch. It's very tolerable, and we always check in with you during the session. If it's ever too much, you just say the word.

Why is it so affordable right now ?

We've justed opend. We are not fully booked mit patients yet. Hence we have a little spare time.

What should I do to prepare for my session ?

Avoid sunbathing for a week before and after treatment. SPF 50 is totally fine though! Ideally, shave the area about 2 days in advance – that way we see the follicles clearly and can get started right away.

What should I do after the session ?

After your session, just treat your skin kindly. Use a soothing gel and wear SPF 50 on the treated areas for a few days. If you’ve booked a combo treatment, we’ll hand you both products for free – because you (and your skin) deserve it.

How long does a session usually take ?

It depends on the area: small zones like armpits take around 15 minutes, larger combos like full legs can take up to 45 minutes or more. But time flies when you’re getting smoother.

What is this “Laser Safety Check” all about ?

Before your first session, you’ll have a brief consultation with one of our doctors. We’ll assess your skin and hair type to make sure laser treatment is effective for you. If we notice anything out of the ordinary (like a pattern of hair loss or hormone imbalance), we’ll offer proper diagnostics – covered by insurance, of course.

Can I still be outside in the sun ?

Yes, but carefully! Use SPF 50 and reapply twice a day. Just skip the sunbathing one week before and one week after your treatment. Tans fade – smooth skin lasts.

Can I go to work after my appointment ?

Totally! There’s no downtime after laser hair removal. You might have some light redness, but nothing that keeps you from getting on with your day.

Will I be completely hair-free – forever ?

The hair follicles we treat are gone for good. But over time, some remaining fine hairs can get thicker due to hormones or other factors. Luckily, a quick touch-up is all it takes to keep things smooth.

How many sessions will I probably need ?

Laser works only on hairs in their active growth phase – which is about 20% at any given time. That’s why you’ll need multiple sessions. For most people, 6–12 is the sweet spot.

Do you offer installment plans ?

Yes – just reach out to us. We’re happy to find a payment plan that works for you.
